Therapy Services
Key Points Counseling serves a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families in Houston and across Texas. Whoever you are, there is a place for you here.
Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
Individual sessions provide a safe and judgment-free environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes, you just need a space to be heard, understood, and supported. Individual therapy can help treat behavioral, physical, emotional, and mental problems.
Whether you’re struggling with communication breakdowns, emotional disconnect, or conflict resolution, couples counseling helps partners set shared goals and move forward together.
Group Therapy and Process Groups offer a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where individuals can share experiences, gain new perspectives, and develop effective coping strategies. Sometimes, the best way to heal and grow is alongside others who truly understand your struggles.
ESA Letters, Immigration Evaluations & Psychological Documentation
An (ESA) letter is a formal document written by a licensed mental health professional that certifies your need for an emotional support animal as part of your mental health treatment plan. ESA letters are commonly required by landlords and housing providers under the Fair Housing Act.
At Key Points Counseling, our ESA letters are thorough, professionally formatted, and accepted by housing providers across Texas and Illinois.
Immigration processes can be among the most stressful experiences a person and family can face. At Key Points Counseling, we provide compassionate, thorough psychological evaluations to support your immigration case. Dr. Pickens brings both her doctoral training in International Psychology and her genuine commitment to cross-cultural understanding to every evaluation she conducts.
